Adopting

During the year Kakutzi may have special Devon Rex kittens available as pets or show cats to select loving homes. Occasionally, we may also have an adult devon rex that needs to be adopted or possibly some Devon Rex Variant kittens available.

Depending on the breeder and individual circumstances, I may consider selling a kitten for breeding. We do ship to select breeders overseas.

If you are interested in adopting a Kakutzi Devon kitten, you will need to contact me to discuss kitten availability and to let me know about yourself and the suitability of your home. Sometimes there can be a waiting list, so it pays to get in touch with me prior to wanting to adopt a kitten if possible, especially if there is a certain color or pattern that you are wanting. You can then be placed on the Kakutzi email list which informs you of litter arrivals, adult cats available, and other updates.

Our kittens are bought up inside so they are well socialized. Kittens leave home at the age of 12weeks and are fully toilet trained and socialized etc.

Showing your cats/kittens…

If you are interested in adopting a Devon Rex for showing, then feel free to contact me to discuss this. We are more than happy to help you with this, and teach you what you need to know. We can assist you with joining the appropriate clubs and help you with entering and participating in your first shows etc. Special selection can go into choosing a ‘show quality’ kitten especially for you. It pays to contact me in advance to assure that we can have the best kitten possible available for you.
