Kakutzi, Breeder of Devon Rex cats. Welcome to Kakutzi Devon Rex’s website. We hope you enjoy your visit.

Kakutzi Devon Rex is a small cattery located in a peaceful semi-rural area in Auckland, New Zealand.

Kakutzi was named due to its meaning of “soul cat”.

Our cats live with us as loved pets and members of the family except for our boys who live, with a companion, in a specially built living area and access to an outside run. The run overlooks our beautifull scenery of 2 1/2 acres of green paddocks, sheep and calves, native bush, and a pleasant fresh water steam. We also have an amazing range of native bird life that keep the cats entertained.

We do not cage our cats.

Our breeding goal is to breed excellent health, type and temperament. We aim to help expand the devon gene pool and contribute positively to improving the breed.

Our kittens are raised underfoot in our home and are well socialized and well adjusted to the excitement, noise and activity of a busy household.

Kakutzi is a NZCF and Catz.Inc registered cattery.
